Laura Lorello insegna Diritto costituzionale nell’Università di Palermo dal 2000. Nel corso della sua attività si è occupata, tra le altre, di tematiche relative alla tutela della salute, al diritto di sciopero, alla tutela costituzionale delle coppie omosessuali. Ha approfondito anche aspetti relativi alla libertà religiosa e al multiculturalismo e, più di recente, alla parità tra i sessi, specie in riferimento all’accesso alle cariche elettive, e alla libertà di informazione, sotto il profilo del diritto a ricevere informazioni veritiere e corrette e del contrasto alla fake news.ENGLISH

Laura Lorello is full professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Palermo from 2000.

She has dealt, among others, with issues relating to health protection, the right to strike, and the constitutional protection of same-sex couples.

It has also explored aspects relating to religious freedom and multiculturalism and, more recently, gender equality, especially with regard to access to elected office, and freedom of information, in terms of the right to receive truthful and correct information and the fight against fake news.
