Silvia Illari è professoressa associata di Istituzioni di diritto pubblico presso il Dipartimento di Scienze politiche e sociali dell’Università di Pavia, dove insegna anche Prevenire la violenza di genere: educare al rispetto; coordina il modulo giuridico del Master Immigrazione, genere, modelli familiari e strategie di integrazione; presiede il Centro di ricerca interdipartimentale MERGED (Migrazione e Riconoscimento, Genere e Diversità).Nel 2019 è stata relatrice alla Conferenza internazionale sulla Dignità e i Diritti umani a Karachi in Pakistan.

Attualmente i suoi temi di ricerca comprendono: comunicazione e informazione pubblica, con particolare attenzione alla comunicazione di emergenza, parità di genere, storia costituzionale, federalismo e regionalismo.

Silvia Illari is public law professor at the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Pavia, where she also teaches Prevention of gender-based violence: teach respect; she coordinates the public law module of lectures within the Master’s degree program in Immigration, Gender, Family Models and Integration Strategies and she’s president of the Interdepartmental Research Centre MERGED (Migration, Recognition, Gender and Diversity).

In 2019 she was a speaker at the International Conference on Dignity and Human Rights in Karachi in Pakistan.

Now her research and scientific interests concern public communication and information, with particular attention to emergency communication, gender issues, Italian constitutional history, federalism and regionalism.
